Angel and Jeremy had the most wonderful wedding day this past fall! I have filmed many different culture’s weddings and always get excited to participate in weddings where the traditions are new to me. This was my first Tea Ceremony and it was amazing. So much color and loud celebrating and beautiful family traditions, it was a wonderful way for Angel and Jeremy to honor their families, those who were there celebrating and those who have passed on. They shared in a traditional western ceremony as well, and it was also so very meaningful to them and their friends and family who came to celebrate with them. Thank you so much Angel and Jeremy for letting me be a part of your wedding day!
Here is a short highlight of their day – you will have to ask Angel and Jeremy to watch the short film! It is AMAZING!!!

I typically don’t post unless I have a photo of a sweet new baby or a beautiful wedding film, but today I just have to share this article. I hear so many times from my clients that they are SO HAPPY that they decided to invest in a wedding film. Many of them say it was the best thing that they have from their wedding day. Many of my clients have lost a parent, sibling, best man, or dear friend shortly after their wedding day and to have those special people filmed celebrating with them is truly a gift. Not to mention Parents, Grandparents, and the chance to record all those incredible special, touching and sometimes funny words that are spoken on this first day of a new family. This is why I feel so strongly about what I do. I really believe that a wedding film is the most powerful way to capture your wedding day. There is something about the audio mixed with the motion of your day to tell your story that is just magical. A well done wedding film is a must.

Check out this article – it seems like many Newlyweds agree. They have found that the #1 regret that Newlyweds have after their wedding is NOT having a wedding film. My unscientific poll is that about 20% of brides and groom in my area get a wedding film. This will and is changing as more and more brides and grooms are beginning to discover what GOOD WEDDING FILMS look like! Don’t regret not having a wedding film!

I knew I would love this couple the minute we met. Karin and JC just had a wonderful chemistry and relaxed way about them that I just loved. Their wedding day was relaxed and and classy and just so beautiful at one of my favorite venues, Pennway Place and Patti Gehring worked her magic as always. Topping it off with a wonderful dinner from Feasts of Fancy and a master cigar roller and smoking room, their guests had as wonderful time as the newly married couple. Thank you guys, it was a pleasure to be part of your wedding day and help you preserve this amazing day.

I just have to post this quickly here on Christmas Eve – Sweet Baby Brooks. This little guy is two months old and was so sweet during our session giving me so many gummy smiles and sweet cooing chats. He is the sweet baby of a former bride and I was especially honored to come photograph him this week because his Aunt (another bride) gave the session to his family as a gift! Thanks for letting me come play at Gramma and Grandpa’s house Brooks – I can’t wait to share these images with your family! Have the most wonderful First Christmas Ever!

Lauren and Eric were married after a crazy couple days of the strangest Kansas weather that resulted in HUGE power outages and crazy damage, especially right around the church where they were married. I believe Lauren’s brother may have even pulled some strings and managed to get the power restored at the church! I asked him if he could do the same at my house, and luck had it that our power was back on by the time I got home that night! Thanks Brother!
Anyhow, it was a beautiful day, and Lauren and Eric just glowed as their family and friends celebrated with them. Thank you so much for having us there to help you preserve your wedding.

Rachel and Brian’s wedding day was just beautiful. So many personal details went into their day and friends and family from all over came to celebrate with them. My heart ached for them though as their best man died suddenly shortly after their wedding. I am so thankful that I was able to be there to capture his hilarious and heartwarming toast and so many moments of celebration that they all shared together. It was a beautiful day in so many ways, and I wish you peace this holiday.

I don’t do this very often because I can hardly keep up with my own anniversary, but every once in a while I like to remake a wedding film as a little first anniversary present. Michael and Nicole had the most beautiful wedding last December at Barnsley Gardens Resort, just North of Atlanta. I was so honored that they flew me up to be part of their wedding day with guests and family from all over the world. Nicole and Michael met in France and currently live in London so they have friends from all over the place. Their wedding was lovely and the touch of super8 film that we included was perfect for their day.
Happy Anniversary guys – I hope you like your extra little wedding edit!

This was one of the most sweet and romantic couples I have filmed in quite a while. Such a fun weekend, but also so full of emotion and such beautiful toasts and words! This wedding was such a great example of why it is so important to have a good wedding film. We had the most amazing family toasts at the rehearsal dinner, beautiful meaningful words during the ceremony and then more amazing toasts at the reception – including Megan’s Grandpa telling an amazing story of how they met! These films are so fun and easy to edit – so much amazing little gems to use to tell Megan and Nate’s story. Thank you guys for giving me that opportunity! Enjoy your short film!
Please let the entire film load before watching – it will play much more smoothly.

I love getting to work with the most amazing people every weekend. Katie and John and their families and friends were so wonderful to celebrate with and had just the most amazing wedding day. Holly, Lindsay and the rest of the team at Simple Elegance kept things running smoothly and without any bumps. The Intercontinental looked AMAZING with beautiful flowers by Beco Flowers, and my favorite cake of all time – Take the Cake, and of course I got to work with one of my favorite photo girls, Adrienne Maples. Can’t forget the charming Michael Beers Band – you will hear Katie’s Dad loving on them in this little clip!
Enjoy your sneak peek – can’t wait to edit your film!
