I love my job. Look at this sweet guy! He is so very loved! His Dad is from Iceland and both Mom and Dad are Opera singers! How cool is that? It is not every day that you can live in Kansas/Missouri hold a beautiful baby and create art for Icelandic Opera singers! 
I already said it, but I really love my job!

Pretty Pretty Pretty! I could just leave it at that and be done with this one! Wow! I have a special place in my heart for art museums and the Nelson Atkins is especially wonderful! This was the first time I have shot a wedding reception here and it lived up to all my expectations. What a grand location for a wedding. Jenny and Mike you will have such special memories now every time you go to visit! It also turned out that our families are connected with some dear friends, which I didn’t figure out until they started waving enthusiastically at the wedding. Beautiful locations, FABULOUS couple, great families, favorite photographer, wonderful coordinator and spectacular flowers makes for one awesome wedding. Enjoy!

I am honored to be a “Friend of the Hive” and enjoyed participating in their bridal show last Thursday. What a beautiful way to celebrate Valentine’s Day weekend – a wedding! Such a sweet couple and kind families – thank you for letting me be part of your special day. The minute I heard this reading at your ceremony I knew the song that had to be included in your film!
This was the first of many weddings this season at Loose Mansion – very pretty location! I love the intimacy of the ceremony and classy yet homey feeling this venue allows. Hope you had a wonderful AND WARM trip – enjoy your Sneak Peek!

This is another special family post – my sweet nieces! These sweet girls don’t roll their eyes and run away when I show up with my camera – I must not have ruined them like I did my own children ! Sweet Maizie not quite at one week old and big sister Finley is three! Pretty sweet – I might be a little smitten.

I had a lot of fun putting this film together – so many great words spoken and that SONG! Wow – that song!!! So great! Here is a look back at Stacey and Robert’s sneak peek. I think one of the best parts of our story is that Stacey and Robert booked me just a few weeks before their wedding – we had met several months before and they decided that video wasn’t in their budget. They reconsidered and called and luckily I still had their date available! It was a beautiful day – thank you for letting me be a part of it!

This one is especially wonderful – this is my new niece Maizie! Isn’t she beautiful!!! She has an adorable big sister who is so very proud! Stay tuned to her formal session that we did this week! Welcome Maizie!
Here is a little surprise for one of my family clients – this is a video/photo combination product I look forward to offering next year – I think the “film” part brings such a true and special insight to a family that complements a beautiful more traditional photo session. I love this family especially b/c my kids are about the same exact ages – these moments are so fleeting and precious! Thanks for sharing a beautiful fall day with me Winne’s!

This doesn’t happen very often – actually, it is the first time EVER I have offered a sale on ANY photography products. My printer is offering a winter sale this week tho, and I am passing it on to my current clients! The only tricky thing is that we have to have already completed your photo session – you can order ANYTHING that we have proofed together as a wrapped canvas for 20% off!
