I'm very excited to combine my two blogs! What you see here is ALL my work. Both the wedding videography AND baby, child and family photography. I will be posting wedding video clips and sneak peeks from portrait sessions, as well as a few little peeks into my personal life.
Photo and video are such amazing forms of art and I am so lucky to have been able to make it my life's work and capture such amazing moments of marriage and young families!
Enjoy the work, and please leave comments! I love them!
If you are a current/former bridal client and would be willing to leave some kind words - Review Creative Video at WeddingWire">WeddingWire has a great spot to do it! Thanks so much!!!

I guess I have a soft spot for baby Lily’s. This one was wonderful! There are very few 6 wk old babies who really smile – Lily does! Those early smiles are such a gift, this little one gave me one after another! She was relaxed and sweet during our studio session – just perfect! And those lips – sweet Lily.
Look at this sweet girl!!!! I fell in love yet again! We had a great time on a cold morning a few weeks ago – Addie was a sweetheart and her puppydogs were so adorable – What a great family! Turns out Addie goes to the same MOST WONDERFUL babysitter that both of my kiddos went to when they were babies! How cool is that! I love what a small world we live in!
I think this might be one of the happiest couples I have had the honor to celebrate with! They were so relaxed and enjoyed their day so very much. The look of happiness in both of their faces during their ceremony was just so fabulous! On a personal note, this was a special wedding for me because I used to teach art with Paige’s mom during my teaching years! So it was such a compliment and honor to get to create this beautiful memory for this family.
Debra Waldorf - Thank you, Maura. Your kind words and artistic talent just confirm that we made the correct choice for the person to record Paige and Charlie's big day. You truly have a gift.
admin - Thank you! That means so much coming from not only the mom of the bride, but a fellow artist! Say hi to all my teacher friends over at BVW! I have such fond memories of teaching there. :-)
We had a blast over the weekend with little people in their jammies in the studio! Here are a couple for you to enjoy!
I have the option of custom Valentines for you this year – I am including a couple options here as well. There is still time to schedule a sitting for Valentines or we can use a recent image if you have had a session with me in the last couple weeks.
Stay tuned for the next studio special – I am working on my baby chick connection and safe home for them after we are done!
What a sweetheart! I think I had THE best start to 2010 when I got to take sweet Elsa’s photograph on New Year’s Eve! Elsa is the newest member of our street, what is turning out to be a steller year of babies here in Prairie Village! We will have 3 new ones that I know about. No, none here thank you.
Elsa was great – she had some sleepytime AND some awake time – we captured some great shots of her in her first week! I LOVED this special quilt that a friend made for her – such great color! We are all excited to have you here in the neighborhood Elsa! Welcome!
I have the best clients AND the best job! Yet, another wonderful wedding – so pretty. Thank you for letting me be part of your day and help you preserve your wedding day. It was a beautiful one!!!
Happy New Year! It has been some time from my last post, mostly because after a marathon editing rampage before Christmas, I ended up with a pinched nerve in my neck and took some time off to heal and be with my family over Christmas. This time was extended a little bit due to several snow days this week, but things should fall back to normal next week. We had a great show today at The KC Star’s Bridal Spectacular and met LOTS of wonderful brides and their families. Thank you to everyone who stopped by. My 2010 is really filling up, so if you are interested in securing Creative Video for your wedding film, give me a call or email soon. There are not many dates left.
I’ve got lots of postings to share with you – a new year’s baby, a wedding, and a great big family shoot – but for now, here are my little ones celebrating the beginning of 2010! Well, mabye not the beginning – more like 9pm, but we still celebrated!
What a beautiful and FUN wedding! I LOVE big families and this one was a whole lot of fun! We had some special dancing – and some beautiful toasting – it was just a lovely wedding day! Thank you so much for letting me help you remember such a beautiful moment. Here is another peek at their “sneak peek“!
Beautiful. This was a special wedding for many reasons – some of which I blogged about when I posted their sneak peek. It was a beautiful day and I am so excited about this first full edit using my new camera! This is a great example of the work that will be coming out of my studio for 2010 – just beautiful! Thank you Chynna and Andrew – I hope watching this with your families is extra special this holiday. Here is your short film!
